AREC2015 is almost upon us, and what better way to get in the spirit, than to look at all the sensational speakers and sponsors that will be there and put together your schedule. Below are a list of must do things when attending this years AREC conference.

1. Start your event with Tom Ferry.

There won't be many people who can match the level of expertise that Tom Ferry provides when it comes to coaching and tactics. Ferry's approach to real estate transpires just using scripts to sell. Use Ferry's session to set your goals for the next two days. Learn about how you can dominate your market and not follow in other's footsteps, move from competing to dominating!

2. Network!

AREC2015 is all about networking. It's great working with vendors and potential buyers, but there is just as much importance on networking with industry professionals like yourself. The main thing to keep in mind is to not be shy to ask questions. Do you have a mentor there? Is there someone in an entirely different market that impresses you? Use the time to try and pick their brain for a few minutes and learn about the skills they have focused on to improve their business. Every opportunity to network in the 48 hours should be used, and your schedule should be focusing on new networks you can make, and establishing relationships.

3. Learn how to be more efficient.

The number one killer for agents is time. There is a reason agents are not equal and don't all make the same money, it's because they don't allocate their time correctly. The master of time management, Tim Ferris will be speaking on both days at 2.45pm - IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU listen to him. If there is any take away from a conference like this, it is tactics and ideas you can use to improve your time management skills. Schedule in two hours over the 48 to ensure you listen to him.

4. Connect with your support partners.

Are your CRM providers exhibiting at AREC? What about the person who handles your marketing collateral? Use AREC as a time to connect with your industry providers, even if you do't personally deal with them. Also use it to investigate if there is a service out there that can add comprehensive value to your business. Also investigate how new technology can be integrated in to your business, and the benefits it can offer.

5. Learn from the best.

Sit in on Mark Di Giulio's analysis on how to be an effective agent. The best way to take your career forward is to learn from the best. Mark has proven experience in real estate and is where every aspiring agent needs to aim for in their real estate goals. Ensure you don't miss this hour as it is essential to analyse what Mark is doing well, and how you can improve to his level.

And overall.....Have Fun! AREC is about learning but also about taking a break out of your busy schedule. If you have any spare time, ensure you pick out your mentor and go and spend time with them.
